The Arizona man who broke a penny pyramid-building world record cashed in over a million pennies on Monday, according to UPI. The 1,030,315 pennies had been used to make the record-breaking pyramid over a period of three years, 30,000 more pennies than the previous record-holder. Once Guinness verified the record, Nielsen, who goes by “Penny Building Fool” on YouTube, demolished it. The 6,000-pounds worth of pennies were then loaded into cargo vans and taken to the bank. Once counted, Nielsen walked out with exactly $10,303.15.
