Some California sheriff’s deputies got a real surprise on Sunday night when they received a call about a break-in at a Sonora home. According to UPI, the culprit turned out to be a mountain lion. As seen in a video posted to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, “Fish and Wildlife were contacted and assisted our deputies in coaxing the mountain lion out of the second story bathroom window.” The cougar reportedly wandered in through the house’s front door before ending up cornered in the bathroom. There was no damage done to the home, nor did the animal act threateningly, the sheriff’s office reported. The office added, “He did get a stern warning about the break-in before being released.”
