2. Career Fairs

a. Program Director and PM Air Personality Brett Waford attended Career Fair for

Shelby County Schools on 4/12/2013 to encourage youth interested in the

Communications Career Cluster

b. Mindy Abbott, morning show host and promotions director for WSTV FM,

attended career day at Elkhorn Elementary school February 2014.

3. National Radio Talent Institute

4. Training and Development

a. Kristin Cantrell, Owner and GM, went to Bowling Green to WKU as a volunteer

instructor for the WKU Radio Talent Institute in July 2014. Cantrell taught

sessions in Role of the Marketing Professional, Prospecting, Getting the

Appointment and Client Needs Analysis. Sixteen students interested in radio

careers were in attendance. Cantrell also taught these sessions at the Confer

Radio Talent Institute in PA July 8, 2014.

a. Sales staff attended advanced sales training with Sean Luce on 3/20/13. This

included GSM Tonya Moore and three salespeople on staff.

b. All sales staff attended webinar on affordable health care act and business

opportunities resulting from this legislation.

c. Program Director, Brett Waford and Promotions Director Stephanie Waford

attended Country Radio Seminar Feb 2014 in Nashville. Brett Waford and

Jeremy Beam (AM personality and asst prod director) attended CRS in Feb 2014

d. Owner Kristin Cantrell is currently mentoring Operations Manager Jonathan

Burton for General Manager/shareholder positions in the future. This was at the

request of the employee and includes training and job shadowing tasks.

e. All Full time employees attended KBA conference/training sessions in October

2014.

f. Professional development: RAB conference September 2014 was attended by

Jonathan Burton, Operations; Tonya Stormes, Local Sales Manager; Mindy

Abbott, Promotions Director/Air Personality WSTV and Daniel Yount,

Production Director/Air Personality.

g. Professional development:

i. Southern Belle paid for tuition and allowed 10 paid work days for Tonya
